The election for the president of the Korea Football Association, which was scheduled for today (8th), was put on hold yesterday, a day before the vote. The Seoul Central District Court yesterday cited a provisional injunction on the grounds of procedural violations by the Korea Football Association.

First of all, he pointed out that the KFA failed to disclose the members of the steering committee who manage and run the elections, so it was not possible to confirm fairness, and did not take measures to ensure transparency, such as attending the candidate's representative when selecting electors.

It also pointed out that the number of electors, which should consist of 194 people, was reduced to 173 while failing to comply with the rules for obtaining personal information consent prior to the elector lottery, and there was no effort to supplement the electors, which were reduced by more than 10%.

As a result, the election scheduled for today was temporarily postponed, and the Football Association once again lost its trust.

In response, candidate Huh said, "The candidate's qualifications should be preserved because the election was postponed due to the association's fault," but added, "I will accept it calmly no matter what the situation comes."
